So today I got my PAIR block off plates, thanks superdutyd. As well as the hose kit for the rads, and the new oil cooler. All I have to say is OMFG this oil cooler is... HOLY F@#$ING $H!T... I just dont know what to say about this... 
I'm starting to wonder, between the oversize dual front mount rads, the electric water pump, and this ungodly massive excuse for an oil cooler if I even need to run a fan lol
I may just get 1 or 2 small fans on a toggle switch and scratch the temp switch, because I'm beginning to think I wont need them very often...

Really that's even more of a reason to run a temp switch... you'll forget to run the fans if you don't 
Totally worth the effort, IMO. With anything that's pretty far removed from OEM, it'll be trial an error for sure, so it's your call. But from everything I've done, holy **** those professional system engineers really have your best interest in their design, so if you can mimic it it'll cover most situations you'll be in!

7 - yea after thinking about it you are 100% correct, if I'm doing such a good job at cooling ill forget to keep my eye on the temp guage and i'll end up with problems, so temp switch it is...
And james - I'm going to omit the carb heater lines as I dont ride in freezing cold temperatures, but will put them back on if I run into problems

I ran my bike without the carb heater lines when I first fitted an electric water pump.
The bike felt doughy.
Hard to explain how it felt but it was different, sort of flat.
So I did some digging and read a few posts on different forums about the heater hoses.
Lots of different opinions so I got an adaptor and refitted them.
I believe that there was a difference.
I do not run a thermostat with the electric pump so the water is circulated all the time.
I think that I read that the thermo is two stage in the VTR and that it ultimately at some stage stops the water going through these hoses to the carbs, however on my bike it runs through the carbs constantly and the bike performs well, very crisp at all temps.

I think fedex is fu@#ing with me... not having my rads are holding up this build, it took 4 days to get the package from CT to MA the next state over, and they had the package at their facility yesterday and it didnt end up on a truck today... WTF

hose kit, cheapo ebay $60 kit... havent heard anything bad about them so I figured Id give it a try. plus it'll be easier to modify those hoses then spending hours in the hose section of the local parts store just to end up with a million and a half splices...

you havent missed anything, check out page 1, xeris posted pics of a superhawk streetfighter with KTM rads on it... I'm doing the same rad setup with aftermarket "oversized" rads
Or you could just eliminate the key altogether and run a hidden switch. If some one has the desire and opportunity to steal the bike a keyed ignition isn't a deterrent.
Finally got my rads in today
these things are nice! Ive definitely seen better welding but its not horrible and as long as it functions I'm happy, they even came with a 1 year warranty.
Compared to my old beat up factory rads the immediate noticeable differences are as follows: they look better (no **** sherlock), they are about the same length, they are 11 rows wide where as the factory ones are 14 rows wide, they are 2 rows thick where as the factory ones are 1 row thick, and the main hose connections are smaller then factory...
So besides realizing I need like 10 sets of hands to figure this **** out, theres only one issue I see right now. If you look at the first and last picture theres a small hose connection(not the overflow connection) thats a small secondary line going to the other rad. the big connection in that picture goes to the other rad as well. Well due to the placement of the oil cooler that connection is going to point right at it with no room for an elbow to go around. I thing I'm going to have to plug this connection.

So it turns out I cant use this hose kit at all, I may be able to use 1 or 2 hoses but its not worth the $60 if I can return them. I still want to add some color to the bike with the hoses so I'll see what samco has for prices per foot, if its not stupid expensive I may go there but otherwise does anyone know any companies to look into?

Recieved my new danmotos today from captainchaos, which was a great price for brand new pipes.... isss gon be loud!!!!!
I also recieved this incredible latching relay for my RFID setup, gotta do some more research on how to set it up but it is more or less fully adjustable and can be delayed 1-100 seconds, I snapped a photo of the settings sheet so you guys can check it out...





All these new parts and so much to do, I have a pile of scrap aluminum waiting to be turned into brackets for my obscene cooling setup, and I have zero motivation... Its funny that I can work 11-12 hour days at my brutal job, come home and work on my bike til 1 or 2 in the morning (usually utilizing some sort of liquid motivation
) and wake up at 6 the next morning and do it over again. However on the weekends I have my son, a 3 year old wrecking ball and I am exhausted with no motivation, probably because I dont drink when I have my son... oh well, what can ya do

Scottie, when you figure out how to wire the RFID and 611T to our bikes, let me know. I started a thread here with the same equipment, and kind of have it figured out. However, it would be nice to have another "electrical guy" take this on. I would love to install it this year. I got a guy who can insert a glass ampule under my skin. Not saying I will go this route, but it would be pretty neat starting my vehicles without a key and just a wave of my hand!
Now, I know you will be chopping up and making your own wiring harness, but the priciples are still the same.

glass ampule? lol this is getting a lil high tech, borderline futuristic for an old tired carb'd bike
yea right now I'm waiting on the ICU and RFID before I can start the electrical but I want to be done with the cooling setup so I'm positive of all variables affecting the routing of wires... and dont worry I'll be posting PLENTY of pics during the wiring phase, and I'll draw up a wiring diagram for the RFID when I figure it out.

From what I have read on other forums, you are supposed to insert those round things inside your exhaust loosely. You then start the engine and as fast as you can, FLOOR IT! Next, take out a tape measure and see how far you got them to fly. Post your results for others to compare.
This is the one I purchased click here. There are MANY installs into motorcycles with this unit. It's small enough to hide just about anywhere. The only drawback is the reader. You need to have the key fob within 3" of the reader. You can put the reader anywhere behind the plastic fairing and it will still read the key fob. Also, the key fob can be spilt open and the RFID tag taken out. It is a little bit bigger than the size of a quarter and about as thick as a credit card. This can be sewn into the lining of your jacket or gloves. And if you have a Ballistic case for your Galaxy S3, it is thin enough that it fits between the phone and the case perfectly

I bought the same one (only as a single unit, not triple) from the same seller... I plan on mounting it in the tail with the reader/antenna right near the tail light, so I just have to caress that *** a little bit to turn her on
Alright, while my son was taking a nap I found some motivation to start working on the brackets for the cooling system. I drilled and mounted up extensions from the previous radiator mount points and made up the brackets that mount to the oil cooler. I didnt get a chance to mount those to each other but I will get the oil cooler mounted tonight. I tried to take some pictures of how its going to mount up but holding a full size camera with my left hand when the button is on the right so you have an idea, but like I said I'll have it mounted tonight and take some better pictures... in the end all the brackets will be cut of excess
