    Hi sorry for not getting back on the temp issue.
    well I can say she wouldnt be good in a big city,let her idle for 5 to 10 min and the coolant was coming out.
    Lucky I live in the country where we have minamal traffic.

    Thanks Steve. The CCT's and R/R are the first on my list.
    The Firestorm UK site is where I started my research on the SH. My reading there were instrumental in helping decide that the SH was the bike I wanted.
    It's starting really cool off (I'm at a little over 5k elevation) here but still pleasant during the day, and of course being in the desert, dry.

    Some other stuff you might want to think about is replaceing the cam chain tensioners and regulator/rectifier, go to firestorm.org it is the uk version of this forum and makes for very good reading.
    Yeah the agonys not good, weather now crap over here so cant get out on her much, but gets all the little jobs done,
    got to warn you though Dave this bike is seriously adictive !

    I will take you up on that offer. I'm still deciding on what I want to do. I bought the bike last week. The fairings are really beat up, but the rest of the bike is excellent. I'm considering a naked type of look, maybe. Might repair/replace the fairings. The parts I needed to get the bike on the road came today. I have not ridden yet and it's agony.

    In UK triple clamp is known as a top yoke, i apologise if you already knew that ! if you contact www.topyoke.com he should sort you out, his name is Matt, he is slow but very good ,cost me GBP 150 you get the triple and the risers
