Oil line fitment question

I just picked up a larger oil cooler from a TRX450 (see pic) that I will eventually be fitting to my VTR. My goal is to fit in low in the front of the engine just above the filter.

The cooler came with the original lines which would seem to be the perfect length for this installation. The only problem is that that they no longer have the ends that bolt up to the engine cases. My question, then, is is it possible to fit the ends of the existing TRX cooler lines (chrome fitting; see pic in lower right) into the stock VTR lines where the chrome lines come in presently (see VTR line pic, middle left). In essence, I would be dismantling the stock line and simply replacing the chrome tube section wit the TRX lines. Is this possible? If not, I will likely just cut the stock braided line and the shoulder fitting off TRX450 line and simply slide the chrome tube into the VTR braided line, securing it all together with hose clamps.

thanks in advance.

I don't think so. I am pretty sure that these fittings are not made to be removed.

Cutting them off will be the only option I think.
