VFR bars - fitment
#2
Re: VFR bars - fitment
Yes, I know. No, you won't.
Fairing clearance was a little tight for me using 95 bars. It would push on the kill/high beam switches. I shimmed the fairing out with some rubber grommets between the fairing and upper bracket (mirror connection point). Although it doesn't appear to be, my upper could be bent as the bike had been previously wrecked.
YMMV

Yes, shimming helps. I got two rubber do-nut type spacers (per side) from the hardware section at Lowes and silconed them to the fairing bracket mirror holes. You'll still have enough length on your mirror stalk threads for this additional depth.
