Fuel Filter?????

I've torn down the hawk to take care of some previous owner neglect.(Old girl has 40,000+ hard miles including my own so she deserves some TLC) I have the front end off to do some fork tweaks, new fork oil and am in the process of adjusting Idle, syncing carbs, TPS adjustment. I thought I'd check my Honda shop manual about changing the fuel filter while everything was accessible but couldn't find a fuel filter referenced in the manual. Am I just blind or is there something different like a fuel strainer instead? if so, where is it? Any help would be appreciated.

No filter, just a strainer above the petcock. Usually not an issue unless the tank has rust. The thing sticks up like 1-1/2 to 2" so it's almost impossible to clog.

+1
You don't need one. If you do install you'll need two.
