sweet. I'll be sending payment as soon as I get the green light from my financial advisor(wife). within a few days at most.

Here it is. The last quote I had put this upper triple at around $175 including and anodized finish. I've also got a matching lower clamp but it would be somewhat more expensive and would requre the stock VTR lower triple to donate it's steering stem.

I like it. I am assumming that it is solid across and not "lightened" on the underside as the stock upper. Do you have any readily available? Or how long in advance would i need to order it before actually needing it?

Actually, it is lightened as shown below. I've still got a couple of details to work out before I'm ready to machine any. I like to make sure that I thoroughly prototype and test all parts before offering them to anyone else. I think it's really dangerous to fab something up and immediately start making parts for others. You often find details you didn't expect, so I'd need to finish that stage before I'd make a run of parts. I'll post up a new thread once they are ready.

I PAID for a fork brace more than two months ago and nothing. Others say he's been posting to a streetfighter forum with lots of progress on that bike - at our expense? Hey Trucker - grow some scroto

hey man ive been posting here too. When I took a few pre orders I stated that they were not done and the money for the pre orders were being put into getting the pieces cut out and machined.

ive spent your money, and mine having these things cut out so far.

I bummed a ride and bought a special milling machine bit for the counter bore holes today.

As for not having your brace yet I am sorry. But please understand having a smashed knee does not help progress. Neither does spending your days downtown at the Human Services Department waiting hours and hours for the chance to get an appointment so I might just qualify for Medicade so a young doctor can learn his procedures on me.

Please understand that im trying to get these things done.....

As of right now the CCT orders ive taken take priority because People are in NEED of them and their engines might blow if they dont get them in time.

Again I am very sorry it has taken this long but please understand Im working at 110% and I do not know how much longer I can keep it up.

I see many people inquiring about their parts from truck, how many have gotten the parts are happy with the purchase? I haven't seen any feedback as I recall.

At this time I think he's only producing the CCTs, which have gotten very good reviews...production of the fork braces is on hold because of the CCT backlog...

I have the CCTs from Truck and can say that they are quality units. They impressed me enough to be one of, if not the, 1st to pony up for the fork brace. I am waiting for my brace like everyone else, but I am sure he is going to deliver quality product ASAP.

What type of bit did you get?? Just asking because we always use a standard end mill to counter bore all our stuff........

Sounds like you're preying on some unfounded fears..... hell my CCT's got changed at 60k but YMMV

How much clearance is there between the brace and fender? Looks kind of tight in the photo.

Trucker,

I ordered my CCT's on May 6th with full payment and have yet to hear anything. Your message box is full and e-mails go unanswered. As a last resort, I submitted a PayPal complaint but still have heard nothing.

At this point, all I want is what I ordered. I'd much rather have my parts than a refund. Trucker, please get back to me, allow me to be a satisfied reference for your workmanship rather than a upset buyer who feels taken.

Upon delivery of my parts I will happily edit my posts with an objective review of your product to allow you future sales opportunities.

Thanks, your help is appreciated!
Please send me another email. With the crash I had with the comp there is bound to be someone I overlooked, and unfortunately it had to be you. Im sorry and Ill get this taken care of asap. Please be creative with the subject title of the email so I can find it in the mess of 500 emails. For some odd reason the newest are not at the top.

Thanks again

Its just a small end mill that will go in the drill press to create the countersink for the head of the bolt. Everything else is normal drill bits.

It is tight. If you wish to reuse the stock fork boot protectors the brace needs to be all the way down on the fender. If your not running the boot there can be a few mm of space between the two.
