Heya. i got a vtr 1000f /97.

Last day a ticking sound started. Its hard to hear where it comes from.

I have checked the valves, all wass fine. Last year i replased the cct´s. they also looked fine when i checked the valves.

Any suggestions ?

Need some more information, like when is the ticking heard and does it go away or always there but it could be an exhaust leak....

 

Last day i wass out driving, it wasent there. Today when i wass going to work. no ticking. But when i came home. the ticking wass there again.

Maybe i should check the exhausts.

 

A common exhaust leak is at the collars where the pipes fit to the header.
