BLINKER LIGHTS ON DASH ON DIMLEY ALL THE TIME

Good morning all,

I have an 02 RED (fastest color) SH that I am just finishing up making it re-roadworthy. It has not been on the road since 06 and was a salvage from the insurance company due to the upper fairing stay mount on the frame had snapped off (tig welded new one.... voila good to go)
It only has 2500 miles on it and is stock besides pipes and a lower fairing (not installed yet.

The PO did not have the factory blinkers, and I was installing beetlebags anyway.

I installed the Lockhart flush mount three ways in the front, and used the integrated blinkers in the beetle bags for the rear.... I finally hooked them up last night. They all work perfectly..... BUT

the little blinker lights on the dash are just dimly lit all the time now... If I put the blinker on, it flashes as normal. But otherwise it is on all the time just a little bit.

Any ideas of cause? Any and all ideas appreciated.

Voltage is leaking in from the running light circuit? I wonder if there is a weak diode in either of the aftermarket lights. Do the bettle bags have bulbs with dual filaments (two contacts on the bulb)
I would dsiconect the bags and the LP blinkers and test with a MM. Then add back one at a time and see which one is causing the problem.
Maybe one of the electrical gurus will chime in.

You're right, it is the fastest color.

Three ways? Are you saying you hooked these up as running lights as well? This could very well be your problem.

I got the three wire lockharts (since there are three wires) for the front blinkers.

So common ground
one lead for flasher filiment
one lead for running filiment

is that wrong?

That's right.
Trying swapping the hot leads. Not my fault if you set your bike on fire JK

102dals is an unknown quantity at this point
How do those front lights mount? Are they stick on? Sometimes the ground is via the frame?
