battery not charging

hardrider40 is on a distinguished road
battery not charging
my stator is reading 0 volts can my vr be the main cause of that or just a bad stator has anyone had to replace one before

How are you testing the stator? the regulator/rectifier is a pretty common problem with these things, especially if it's stock. So you might want to check that first.
