@ Wolfgun UD Replicas only makes suits from movies that are happening now. That's where the biggest market is and why you don't see the Barney suit you really want. It's all functional armor. How well it holds up is another story but functional none the less.

Somebody that would purchase this type of product would just be trying to get something different that most people don't have to support a movie they love. Like a race replica jacket. Are they really the pilot of the jacket they are wearing? No. So tell me how exactly would wearing this make you be a "poseur"? I didn't know to ride a motorcycle you had to own a specific jacket.

For any machine whether it is in the car or motorcycle world each person customizes the look to their specific tastes. You're always going to find things you don't agree with. Just like this. Remember the important rule, don't knock it until you try it

Sorry for the poseur comment. I guess I had no idea that someone would seriously consider dressing up as a movie character while riding. But I guess there are plenty, or they wouldn't be making and selling these. Again, no insult intended. Meanwhile, I found a pretty flashy outfit on E-Bay. Sadly, it does not meet any safety standards other than it's probably flame resistant.

If I was going to dress up as a transformer I'd be more like this outfit

I don't know... I think that Storm Trooper suit would look Boss with my Imperial Scout Bike.
Okay... I don't have a Scout Bike - but come on... who wouldn't want a freaking flying motorcycle?
I'm disappointed they didn't have any MEGAFORCE uniforms... they owner flying motorcycles. Sigh... some day...
