What do you wear for dress riding boots? (worn to work or other nice places)

What do y'all wear for dress riding/sport touring boots?

I'm looking for a pair of brown riding boots that I can wear to work. Currently I wear brown Justin cowboy boots and they work well enough, but are not hearty enough to last long and have a leather sole which requires a lot of care lest I slip.

I also have a pair of steel toe work boots that work OK, but they are a bit bulky, and not as tall as I would like.

When I ride for fun, and on days when I were black, I wear my Triumph brand waterproof riding boots:

I like them a lot, but can't find anything locally like them in brown.

I've found a couple boots online, and wanted to know if anyone had an opinion on them.

Stylmartin Legend-R ($$$)
Nice REVIEW of them here.

Brown:

Sand:

And XElement Brand at about a third of the price

I'm not a big fan of buckles, but I can't find any without them.
Anyone have experience with the Stylmartin or the xElement boots?

I wear these. Don't know about colors, but they are well made boots.

Lol, I never thought about that. DOH! Sounds like a workable solution.

Thanks!

I wear my black Justin riding boots. I bought them for riding real horses but they cross over well to the mechanical horses

Military surplus, combat boots. They've lasted me 6 years of teaching MSF on the lot. They have smoothe soles, and are really beat up. I've got a pair of Army wet weather combat boots now.
Can't go wrong.

I'd rather wear motorcycle specific boots, but it's so hard to walk around in them.

Alpinestars SMX boots for track and more aggressive street riding though.

Roger That!
Sidi's for the last 12 years. They offer good looks, protection, riding comfort, and they're designed for ease of shifting, something I find many work boots lack.

Yeah, it's funny how sometimes the easiest solutions elude us! Sometimes you just can't do it but i used to suffer with uncomfortable boots at work or sacrifice protection for comfort until one day it just dawned on me and just like most when it did hit me it was like,

These are the Marc Anthony's that I got, they have a thin enough sole to work well with Khaki's and the dress shirts taht I have to wear, also with dress slacks. If yoru in that type of environment but want the boot feel and safety they are pretty nice

I wear Hitek's hikers if I don't have to dress up or some of the older military boots. I just like wearing boots overall though so I'm wierd I think;-)

Wear these when on the bike.,, going to dinner on the bike with the wife, spirited riding with a friend, parts run, basically if im on the bike, Im wearing these,, Wife has a set as well.

"Dress Up" for me means clean cloths, collared shirt, no logos, not military uniform, anything more than that and I must be at a wedding or funeral,, and a suit is being worn.

Sketchers. Way waterproof, insulated enough for the teens. And decent dressiness

I'm a boot guy too. I usually wear my hiking boots with my jeans as casual wear, rather than tennis shoes. More support. If not the hikers, then my Justins.

Same, except mine are Oxtars - (Sidi's are always too narrow for my feet & I'm a normal width)

For going to work and around town I wear a pair of waterproof Vega boots (with shoes in a backpack that I change into). They're really comfortable to walk in and have held up really well. For any other kind of ride I always wear my 1 piece with my AGV racing boots.

One thing I noticed is how few guys resole their boots.

My old sketchers are on their
6th sole & still waterproof.

Even my alpinestars race boots ($360) were resoled and still going strong. It only costs like $40 to resole.
