Cool. I've personally tested the clutch cover for durability and can say it's basically about as strong as a coke can...Those are pretty low profile too. Are you just showing yours or are you also selling these and if so how much? Who made them? Thanks. Can I get some highway pegs on those LOL

They are actually mount at 4-points and then each side braces the other. They are "low profile" and do not drag, as they were designed and made for VTRs used by a track school near Tokyo, Nippon several years ago. No they are not for sale and only 10 were sold privately by a Canadian friend who lives near Tokyo. I can check if more can be made if there is sufficient interest but the little guy who made them may not even be around anymore. On the other hand, given sufficient compensation I could make a limited run of them here in Chicago.

And whereas highway pegs could be mounted, I have often thought of mounting another set of driving lights to them.

I know u were yoking but I'm not. I looked at designing pegs for them but never seriously. DL are another thing. The DLs I have now stick out of the snorkels (fake fairing intakes) and are up higher and work PTG but another maybe 35w set would be cool. Your eyes don't do as well at night when you get older...

Yeah I've thought a bunch of times about mounting extra lights. You can never have enough. When the superhawk first came out I knew a guy who used to wheelie his at night and he mounted driving lights that pointed downward so he could still see when his front wheel was up in the air

Do you have a ball park of what "sufficient remuneration" would be?? I understand you need a rough guess of number of units in order to price it.

It is mute until there is at least a "guaranteed" quantity. If I wanted to manufacture for just VTRs, the set-up costs would have to be amortized or averaged into the the quantity of ordered units ordered. About 100 units would bring the Unit Cost to say $200 plus shipping. Marketing to enough people with VTRs & other models of bikes or having a distributor becomes a business, which I'm not ready to do.

Yeah, I'm having a hard enough time selling the fuggin' tee shirts I bought for you guys. Don't venture into a business unless you're going to do it full time.
