LED turn signal install question

Ok so I bought a set of Mototeck flush mount LED signals for the front, not remembering that the fronts are 3 wire But now when I look at all of the aftermarket front LED signals, I see they are all pretty much made 2 wire. So my question is, how the heck do you wire it up so that you can get both running lights and turn signals.

Re: LED turn signal install question

figured it out...touch both positive wires to the running light and the one that is dimmer belongs...the other is the turn signal light. But now I do have another newb question...Are the rear turn signals supposed to be on all the time(running lights) or are they supposed to be off unless signaling. Mine are off unless signaling...Is this right??? Thanks.

Re: LED turn signal install question

the 3rd wire is a running light lead. some signals can be running lights, and some can't if your signals have 2 wires (pos, neg) then it can't. if 3, it can. personally, I hate running lights.

Re: LED turn signal install question

Thanks for the replies guys. Whew...I was a little worried that I did something that messed up the rear blinkers. I did install the running light option...but I may disconnect it later. The LP flushmounts look awesome and I am really pleased. I will post pics soon.
