VTROTM Rules:

1. Picture (REQUIRED) 3 Max! Please limit picture(s) size to 1024 x 768.
2. Open to all Super Hawk Forum Members.
3. You are limited to 1 entry per month.
4. You can only nominate your own VTR. (projects, daily riders)
5. Candidates will be nominated up until the 15th of the month or when 15 nominees have been made, whichever comes first.
6. A poll will then be set up (on the 16th if less than 15 nominees) for everyone to vote for VTROTM for that month and close on the last day of the month.
7. All participants who vote will get to vote only once per month so make it count!
8. Negative comments, criticism, harassment, and all around bad manner wont be tolerated.
9. If you have won VTR of the month, you cannot enter your bike for 12 months.
10. In the event of a tie, a 7 day poll will be set up to break the tie.
11. Rules subject to change / amendment at any time.

hi everyone , i thought id enter my bike this month , hope theres a few nices bikes again , its good seeing all the different things that get done with these bikes (and all over there world too!! ) im in sunny ireland ,

i bought this bike in 09 , an ex race bike on a standard and worn out chassis.

so the engine work was already done , spec: (as im informed )


1997 vtr1000f firestrom ,
moriwaki pistons / cams / flowed heads,
modified cct`s
modified carbs running open airbox (with filter)
kevlar clutch,
external oil cooler ,
close ratio gearbox ,
aftermarket ignition module / cdi , (electronics are not my strong point ) programmable (will be lefty alone !!!!!!!!!!!
micron carbon cans .

chassis :
cbr1000rr 05 front end complete
brembo master cylinder,
wilbers race shock,
sp rear wheel ,
all new bearings,
harris rearsets ,
sprint streeing damper,
r+g crash bungs .

bodywork :
vfr 800 tank ,
modified subframe ,
ducati 900 ss seatunit ,
self made side pods ,
cb 500 bars (i have some bodywork damage myself : )

recently dynoed very steady curve upto 110 bhp @ 8500rpm
and best of all 70 ftlbs of torque from 5500 - 8500 straight across
