Last Chance.

This may be my last chance at this, if the bike sells that is.
So here I go once again.
All the regulars know the bike, so I won't waste anybody's time with a description, just a couple of pics...........and a guilt trip.
It's my birthday this month and wouldn't it be nice to win this one ?

I can't decide... Either I should enter and we can have a heavyweight match this month... Or I shouldn't, should wait until my next batch of fun is done...

Time for a shot at the title I reckon Tweety. If the heavy hitters are stepping up this month then I say we should be having a crack at it.

I really can't list all my mods. It took me 3 years!!!!

Suffice to say it has lots of hand made pieces on it, and I have polished, painted, and powdercoated everything. I have mods that most people don't notice, such as the one-piece fairing. Oh, and the rear suspension linkage that has had all the cast marks removed before it was polished. Did somebody say OMCD?

I can do a mods list if necessary, but it will be outa control.

EDIT : Ok, here is a list. Not a full one, but what I can remember just now.

Fairing has been made one piece. Parking light removed and custom fairing made. Grills made up to cover vents. Custom paint.
Undertail modified to fit better, and indicators located on ally bracket. Clear tail light.
Aftermarket mirrors with indicators modified to fit OEM bases. Wiring moved and repainted.
Sub-frame modified to incorporate custom mounts for mufflers. Holes filled, joins re-welded. Repainted.
Staintune mufflers from FJR1300. Moriwaki Titanium pipes ceramic coated and custom link pipes to suit mufflers.
Swingarm has had cast marks removed and welds cleaned up. Holes tapped for custom mount for Powerbronze hugger (mount supplied was rubbish). Swingarm fully polished and clear powdercoated.
Suspension re-sprung and re-valved at both ends. Shock repainted. Forks polished and clear powdercoated.
Dash, controls, brackets, widgets and whatsits have all been polished or repainted. Gauges have had faces repainted single colour.
CBR600 F4 master cylinder and calipers (repainted them too!)
Braided lines all round.
Pazzo levers
Custom seat with a different shape and cover. Seat base has been modified to close up gap to fairing.
Frame has been fully polished and clear powdercoated.
Engine has had total rebuild - new everything. Higher comp forged pistons, lightened flywheel, fully balanced. Modified airbox with billet ally velocity stacks.
Modified shifter with heim joints, re-bushed, and Factory Pro Shift Star.
Custom wheels and brake rotors.
Every nut and bolts has been replaced with either a new OEM, ally or stainless item.
And no doubt some other stuff too.

Shayne, your bike looks awesome. But I just completely refinished my CB1.5, I can't afford to do that to the VTR.
Hey, can I enter the CB1.5 ?

Holy snikes! April 2nd and we already have a handfull of entries. Last month it started midway thru the month and looked like the VTROM might go away.

Olaf where you at? You need to be in every month, I read it in your contract.

Tweety you stay out until your next wave of mods are done.

Where is my calendar, where is the fame and glory? Indie what can be done.

Is the check in the mail?

This is exciting to see so many entries so soon in the month, good job.

Ah well... since it's in the contract. Will take some fresh pics this weekend and see if I can snag a vote or two.

I tried otter pops once, no one took me up on it, although I did win that month. Still have the box of pops. The kids are chipping away at them.

How bout this mdbuehler bike, I like it.

Tweety can we get some larger pics? The one you have is way too dark to see anything and the other two are small and do not enlarge. Get with the program man.

.. and its LOCAL! Gotta vote local ya know! And don't forget that Seattle, is practically in Canada, our brave brothers to the North. Just say'n.

Tried for some outdoor pics, but its so overcast and glary out there the sky blends into the background of the forum, sigh. 5 more days to get some real sun, c'mon weather!
