Scottiemann goes streetfighter
That's great news.
I wondered what happened .
I was enjoying his build and got a few ideas from it as well.
Looking forward to the finished item.
Hope he sorts things out and gets to enjoy his VTR!

Sorry for disappearing guys...
Basically when I stopped posting I stopped working on the bike and it was mainly due to work. I have been worked harder and longer lately and havent had the physical or mental energy to work into the late hours of the night. I have also been taking my son more and he is at that age where he isnt taking many naps making for even less time and energy.
I will be finishing it though and will hopefully have it done prior to next season. I actually have to clean up the area I've been using and move it to a smaller area of the garage to allow cars in for when the snow comes. Hopefully cleaning and reorganizing will help me reorganize my thoughts and game plan as far as the electrical is concerned.
As for riding with Ruvik, it was much needed and much appreciated. That was the first significant ride I have been on in over a year and it was definitely a good time regardless of the high 40's low 50's temps. Speaking of which that first pic makes me look super beefy but Its just 4 other layers under my riding jacket lol...

Yeah ,
Jeeze mate, for a minute there I thought you were a fat bastard! (only joking)
keep going with the build and get to ride it.
I find that riding can be very helpful when life throws you a few curve *****.
Good luck and keep on building.

Mate, what do you reckon the Australian Gov' did with all the weapons they took back in the 90's? I remember it was a big deal.. they had some sort of a buy back thing going on.
That was after Martin Bryant supposedly shot all those poor people in Port Arthur Tasmania.
There are theories that he couldn't of done it by himself.
Then there was a big buy back by the Government and the weapons were supposedly destroyed.
I can remember seeing News articles all the time about it.
To keep a gun now you have to be registered and keep all guns in a safe secure place. Apparently the Police can inspect your set up at any time and there are very strict controls on who can own a gun.
Illegal fire arms are a big problem in Australia. Guns still exist, they are just underground now, and if illegal obviously very expensive.

Yea, interesting how things turn out, I can only imagine if they do it in the US, how is this going to have any effect on the bad guy's with guns? Oh yea, they will probably be in advantage, as normal people will not be able to defend themselves.
More on topic with your post Ruv, if the US government tried this they would face numerous civilian armed militias that will refuse to give up their rights without a fight which would result in an all out civil war... I hope the US government is smarter than this but we know what kind of whackos sit behind the big desks...
Oh, I found it
On a more forum related topic, I am currently back out in the garage!!!
Not sure if any work will get done on the bike but I am at least going to try and clean and reorganize... step number 1 to recovery lol

Alright cleaned the garage last night.
got the carbs mounted tonight, gotta lube up the throttle cables because they are sticking when the forks are turned all the way to the right but other than that everything seems to be functional. Gonna start routing more wires before scorpion comes on and besides it is COLD in this garage already....
its good to be back

Other than the help with the wiring diagrams has anyone run a universal gauge cluster that wants to see input from one of the coils but instead ran the tach signal wire from the ICU?
crux would be able to help but I'm pretty sure he disappeared around the same time I did...
I did however get a few wires routed last night, just have to splice in the factory plugs and new plugs for them.
