um, I think you may want to start off with some basic mods before riding. I'd start with a rear tire maybe a sprocket chain and brake to go with it. Is this a salvage? Do you mind saying what you paid for it?

Lol, actually all I need is a new gas tank and a battery. My father-in-law was at his friend's house and rode the bike back in '04. Well he dumped it and turns out it was his friend's brothers bike so he was kind of forced to buy it for $3800. As you can see on the side he had the fairings fixed but he started tearing the bike apart and polishing out parts. He is a machanic so on and off ever since the bike has sat until about a month ago when he told me he was giving the bike to me. The tank he cut up trying to remold it like orange county chopper lol. It only has 7k miles on it so a little work is worth it to me.

yea you have no idea, my father-in-law has 30+ years worth of tools. He has stuff I'll never know how to use.
