Need help with problem

I did my 1st track day yesterday and it was great!!! The only problem I had was when I would lean the bike over the pegs would grind the ground, so then I took off the little pointy things on the bottom, then I got the bike even more leaned over during the course of the day and grinded the whole bottom of the foot peg. Do I need rear sets or just a small footpeg that will not touch the ground an so I can just drag my knee instead of the peg, which in turn makes your leg jump up cause the peg buckles and come up.

Thanks

You need to hang off more. I have NEVER dragged a peg without the feeler and have dragged lots of knee on this bike. I even dragged the front header once but that was because of fork setup at the time. You also need to get the suspension set up for YOU. There's an article in the KB on setting sag. I suggest you do some research on suspension setup. Upgrades are not out of the question either.

I have to agree, the pegs should be high enough that your knee should be hitting way before your peg. Try to get out of the seat a bit more.
