Looks fine to me, put some duct tape on it and you'll be good to go.

Finally found time to work on the bike again.

Made a gusset for the subframe and started bracing the swinger.

what's wall thickness on that lawn furniture? (lol) Just kidding; but wouldn't getting a little bit beefier be worth it a little more? Ya' know, the difference between an 'ooh' and an "aaahhhhh"!

Ha. This tubing is ALOT meaner than my subframe stuff. Its 1" od 1/8" wall.

Lets just say it took a torch and annealing plus a big cheater bar and my body weight to get it to want to start bending.

Thats opposed to the subframe stuff where I can hold it out in front of me and bend it with my bare hands like in the cartoons.

Yeah, I just wanted to make that you take tire expansion at speed into account. They can stretch up to 2cm...from personal experience on my 1000RR after I burned a hole through my stock hugger.

Oh yes I have. The tire is adjusted all the way forward and I can easily fit a finger all the way around it.

Id rather build it having a new tire on the rim, but Im allowing for different tire profiles also.

Should also fit a 190 if I choose to put one on there, aka I can get one cheap.

That's how mine was done, and second "skin" on the swing arm itself.

usually i like closed in swingarms but not in this case. those tubes look great and it would be a shame to hide them.
