and their done. and they cost a total of about 2 bucks.

 

I'm thinking you should make a run of 10 or so, and sell them to forum members

They look as good as APE's too quality wise I don't have the facilities to mill that or I'd have done the same.. As it is APEs were cheaper than worrying about new valves and pistons.

There is another business opportunity, make those and sell them for half what APE does and you'd be looking at $20 profit each. lol

Well, as long as they are noticably cheaper than APE's they are going to sell... And with low material cost, it's only your time you are investing, so I'd say it should be worth it...

Apes are $40-50 a piece... And you need 2 of them...

You sell the pair for less then $80 and I'm pretty sure the next page of replies are people making orders...

 

Old vs New. Looks better and is 1/3 the weight. Sounds good to me.

after 25 hours of cleaning, I started painting the engine. In a few days ill take it off the stand and clean and paint around the swingarm pivot.

 

Im gonna have one good looking motor. Got to paint the heads next.
