Yeah right... The K&N banner on the website is getting a bit goofy. Do they know that the general concensus is they don't work on superhawks?

They can say it because you do make more top end power with their filter. It's just the big holes in the middle of the rev range they forget to mention.....

I tried both K&N and BMC, and neither works in mine.

I don't know what you have done to your fuel and air components, but if you look at my signature mods below, you can see mine. Along with those, I cut the airbox flap down, trimmed the stock filter out leaving the metal screen, cut a piece of foam to fit and oiled and greased edges with K&N products and it runs strong with no dead spots to redline. I don't think you'll be interested in this modification since intend to restore everything to OEM, but the point is that unless you make changes elsewhere, these aftermarket filter options will not likely work to your advantage.
