Gas gauge and tail riser questions...
So... All of the sudden my gas gauge isn't showing the correct fuel level. It's either saying full tank or reserve. Anybody know a good way to fix this?
Other question: I've seen some tail risers for sale on ebay... they claim to improve handling. Does anyone have one? Would you recommend it?

Yep, agree with marmaladeboy, the shock spacer is the go. 5-6mm is about right depending on your preference. I have used 6mm in mine. Simply insert a spacer shaped like a "U" between the shock mount and the frame, which then alters your geometry, and the steering.
You can also raise the forks through the clamps to achieve the same result. Once again start with about 5mm and vary from there.
My personal view would be use a spacer, and then use the forks for fine tuning.

You can use a couple of thick washers for shims.
I used two that were about 2mm thick each.(home depot)
I cut a slot in one side & could then slide them in without removing the shock (shock removal is a pain in the a**)
You can also drop the front end by raising the forks up 5mm in the triple tree to make "turn in" faster.
This risks scraping the front pipe in very hard knee dragging right handed turns.
These mods reduce stability because you are essentially reducing the fork's rake & trail

You won't drag hard parts until you raise the forks 15mm. I know from personal experience and I got lucky. I was at VIR North and slammed it into turn 1. Heard a scrape and went a little wide. Freaked me out when I saw what I dragged. I went back to 10mm and it turns just fine and have not had the issue since. I also have the Fox shock out back with ride height raised to max.
