Ever gotten a ticket for doing a wheelie?

You did really good with that warning. I lived in Citrus County, Florida until 2 years ago, and I was totally amazed when someone told me it was a $1000 fine if you got stopped for doing a wheelie.
So I looked it up. If memory serves me correctly, it was actually $1003, or some arcane number like that, and the language said something to the effect of "any wheel leaving the ground". So stoppies are also frowned upon.

Florida law states that both wheels must be on the ground at all time. Front or rear. The wheel leaving the ground an inch could cost you $1000, now will most cops give you a ticket for that or even see it, probably not. Hell my front leaves the ground 80% of the times I shift into second.
