Cold by you too?
Well, the days got longer, but right now its 9*F here in NYC. I looked around and found that its -5F in Lake Pleasant NY and its going down to like -25 tonight ambient with windchills past -40F!
Thats tough riding weather by anyones standards. I rode last night at 18* but nowhere to go tonight. Crazy cold.
Anyone see less than 9 tonight?

It's a balmy 21 in my part of Texas. It is supposed to go down to 16 but we think that's pretty cold here. The houses aren't built for this and the pipes are not buried deep enough. No riding for me. Winds are out of the North at 40 mph and that's just not fun on a bike.

Celcius? That crazy bootleg system? And yeah flash, this is very negative. It will pass. Nice and sunny today but not climbing out of the teens. I plan to mountain bike and ride later tonight.
NH I always check the temps in Concord NH since my race campers live there. I vote against this kind of weather.

High teens to 20's at night, 40's through low 60's day time. Clear sunny and not too much wind. Been riding every day. Not today as it's, of all things, raining. No likey wet roads. Makes the bike dirty.

Xeris I am trying not feel hatred toward you right now. Just mountain biked an hour in the teens.
NH I have been racing motorcycles at Loudon since 97 when I got my race license in Bridgehampton LI. You should come up. Have you done a race school or track day?

No race track for me. My son use to do the track days and I'd go watch. That's as close to a track as I care to get thank you. I am in recovery from my second rotator cuff operation in two years so now both have been repaired. I tried mountain bike riding this time and found out the hydraulic disc brakes on those new fancy bikes work real good. Pitched me right over the bars and I don't bounce well anymore. I will be all better and riding both the mountain bike and my Superhawk come spring time. I would be interested is coming to see you ride. To keep this thread going it's 15 degrees F at this time in southern NH and that's plus 17 degrees from 15 hours ago. Much better!

Bloody hell mates, you make me really want to go back, down under and Kiwi land have the most perfect weather...
Miss it, loved having the New Year parties in T shirts and ride my bikes all year round, surfing and so on.
Not to mention the summer paid vacations, my Lab in Sydney was closed for a month from Christmas. Best years of my life.
Cheers
