whining noise

i just got some new tires on my wheels and put the wheels back on the bike today. i took it for a short ride to make sure that everything was working ok and that the tires were balanced how they should be. afterwards, i went to park it in the garage, and when i slowed it down, it make a whining noise around the wheels. i threw it back on the stand and it seems like its just the caliper rubbing on the rear disc brake. im sure its not a big deal, but if its something else i would like to know. also, id like to know if there's a way to get rid of the noise if its even necessary. thanks

Sounds to me like you might not have gotten the caliper on just right. If it's out of alignment, your report could be an indicator. Make sure you got your spacers in right.

My front brakes are making the same sound and i just installed them. they have less than 200 miles on them. my buddy said new brakes usually do that for a while. i doubt that it is true however

i agree nuhawk. i was thinking it would just be the caliper offset every so slightly. ill check the spacers again too, even though i swear i checked them 20 times before i threw the wheels on, but you never know. thanks
