trans messed up after je piston install

trans messed up after je piston install

I got my motor back and even before starting it i noticed i couldnt find neutral than, what i found it where 5 th gear should be and the whole line up of gears is wrong someone please need insite badly

Im putting a hold on the check till my engine builder fixes the problem

What im saying is maybe the dude screwed up the shift fork placement

Maybe the end linkage is just upside down. Look at the first pic in this thread. If it looks like this (end arm that attaches to the shift gear on the bike is pointed up), then you have reverse shifting. All you need to do is loosen that 10mm bolt and flip the little aluminum arm over.
