GSXR 6 piston install

I am going to do the gsxr 1000 k1 6 piston brake install on my VTR firestorm, however, I am going to do it a bit different and use brembo radial master cylinder and lever for both brake and clutch. I think I need the following (correct me if I am wrong or if I have missed anything):

gsxr 1000 k1 calipers & pads
VTR braided lines
radial master cylinder and lever (brake)
radial master cylinder and lever (clutch)
resevoir brake
resevoir clutch
resevoir pipe
pipe clips X4
banjo bolt with break light switch

One of the questions I have is do I need a single banjo or a double banjo bolt?

Any input greatly appreciated.

You are going to need different banjo bolts for the clutch and the brake master cylinders. The Brembo use 10M x 1.00 pitch bolts where the metric bikes use 10M x 1.25 pitch. Also the banjo bolts for the Brembos tend to be shorter in length as the master cylinder is not that deep. I am putting a similar setup on my bike and I have had to replace the banjo bolts from my lines at the master cylinder.

Saw that I needed that for that the brake but not the clutch - good lad, thanks for the heads up.

Any idea if I require a single or a double banjo? Don't have a clue what that means if I am honest so a bit lost.

How you getting on with your set-up?

if you are running dual lines up to the master cylinder for the front brakes you will need a double. The clutch side will be a single banjo bolt. It refers to the number of banjos (the round end of the line) that you need to secure. Also remember if you are using a double that you use 3 crush washers ie.... Crush Washer + Banjo + Crush Washer + Banjo + Crush Washer + Banjo Bolt.
