My second gear has been shot for a couple years now due to me shifting like an idiot. I don't really have the money to pay a shop to replace the trans for me. I have built several car engines but never a motorcycle. I guess I am just nervous the timing will end up off a tooth or something. Has anyone here replaced their trans? I have one with 600 miles on it from a parted out total. Or anyone that can do it for me in So Cal area for a lot less than the dealer?

Since the VTR cases are a top/bottom split it's really not that bad. Heads and all stay on.
