timing advance, rejet?

i had a ride on the bike the other day with the timing advance. hard to tell if the bike is running any different, it seems to wanna rev up a little faster so maybe it made a difference. now the weather was nice but still a little cooler than most summer days and the bike popped a little around 3500 rpm or so while cruising, carb farting, which it does in the cooler weather. but it also felt a little rich while riding. would it be the cool weather playing games with my mind or would it be the +4 degree timing advance?

A good carb sync is probably in order. Rejet will get you better carburetion with your Jardine cans. She's probably running a tad lean in the midrange and top end now.

well she ran great last year with the mods done, the only thing i changed was the timing advance, i wanna change the plugs on her and sync the carbs to start the year off right anyway, see how she runs from there. we had a hell of a time getting her to run good though, those shortened cans really caused issues
