worked for ducati.
you as the owner need to take the time for periodic maitainance
such as checking torque of fasteners in that area.
i have a little over 20,000 mi. on mine and havent had 1 single problem.
well i had a coil go,woohoo!
and im not easy on it either,i ride with busa's and gixxer 1000's
and dont give up any thing except on long straights.
then the corners are mine!
i will see what happens when i finish my rc51 swingarm mod.
then any probs will be my own making.

Actually, Honda has done this with several of their motorcycles. It's only an issue on the VTR if you start making more than about 125hp - not easy on our engines. If you get there then you need extra bracing in that area.
