900rr swingarm/vtr swingarm F/S

I wanted to put the 900rr swingarm brace on my Super Hawk and I picked up two swingarms off e-bay. I don't have the time or energy to mess with it, so I'd like to pass them on. I got a pretty good deal on them, I think, so I'd sell them for what I have into them. I will require money in my hand before I will ship them however.

I have a vtr1000f swingarm off of a 1998 and a cbr900rr swingarm off of a 1994. Both have been used, but are in good condition. $50 Shipped to a USA address for the vtr swingarm and $70 including shipping for the 900rr swingarm.

I'll get to posting a couple pics later, but if you are interested in them, I assume you know what a swingarm looks like . PM me if you are interested. BTW - if you are near to Berthoud, CO and want to pick them up, $30 for the VTR and the 900rr would only be $45. Like I said, I just want back what I put into them. Thanks.

Here are some pictures of my two swingarms. I got an extra vtr swingarm so I could work on the project while still being able to ride. I'll give this a few days on the forum and then I'm going to put the 900rr swingarm on e-bay. I think unless someone here wants both, I'll probably just hang onto the vtr swingarm for some unknown future project. Thanks!

By the way, there is a knick in the side of the 900rr swingarm, shown in the picture.

The part number on the Honda microfiche seems to be the same on the swingarms for all years. Does anyone know for sure if all years are interchangeable? The spare I bought is off a 1998 and my bike is one of the faster ones, a BLUE 2003 .

Also, just an interesting note, the Ron Ayers price for a new vtr1000f swingarm is $575! Yikes!!!

If someone was to buy the 900RR swingarm and just cut off the brace, would the brace fit right on top of the VTR swingarm, or would there be some modifications? I was going to brace my swingarm, but hell, this might save me some time and money. If this is just a cut and weld modification, consider it sold.

I don't get a chance to come on the forums here that often, hence I said in my original post to PM if you were interested in the swingarms for sale. With a PM, I'll get a notification on my Android and know someone is interested.

Anyway, not knowing anyone was interested, I decided to go ahead with my project and purchased a caliper carrier plate for the 900rr and took both swingarms to my cousin, who is an excellent aluminum fabricator and welder and set him to work on my bracing project.

He is going to use a plasma cutter to remove the brace, the caliper carrier plate stop and the spool attachment points from the 900rr swingarm and then install them on my vtr swingarm. After that, he can polish it or, I was thinking of powdercoating it black before installing it.

I'll try to post up some pics when I can.
