Not starting
Hi All,
new here so this may have been answered before. If it has I'm sorry.
My ccts failed at 18000 miles and I fitted new manual ones. The cams timings went very squiffy and I had to reset them.
I put everything back together, the bike turns over but will not start. I have correct voltage, sparks on the plugs.
Does anyone have any idea of what could be wrong?
The bike was sitting for 2 months before I changed the ccts.
Does anyone have an image of where the fuel pipes go onto on the manual shut-off valve?
Many thanks everyone

Bad news is the valves are most likely bent. As thread killer suggested, check the compression.
There is a better photo and explanation somewhere, but I can't find it. The 90° nipple on the back of the fuel valve is where the vacuum line goes.

From a different way of thinking but, make sure the ignition pulse generator connector is connected since you were doing maintenance in that area. It comes thru the clutch case towards the front of the engine and is yellow and yellow / white 2 wire connector.
