New Member Welcome + Tyre question
Hi all!
First off I'd like to introduce myself here seeing as I couldn't find the new member section.
I'm a 30 year old male in Australia, been riding since I was 10 (even before I could get a license), and had the whole gamut of bikes, from learner 250's right up to the big super bikes (1 R1 and a Busa)
Remember seeing a VTR when I was a newbie learner and hearing the noise, thinking one day I will own of those angry beasts! Well I took the long way round but I finally got there!
Got one at the right price last weekend and here we are.
Just a quick tech tyre question as I'm looking at putting some new rubber on:
Any issues with putting a 120/60R17 tyre at the front? Know the advantages and disadvantages or a smaller cut just curious if it will fit or not.
Thanks in advance,
Paul

Good day and welcome...
The question is curious..
In answer to will it physically fit.. Yes it should seal to the rim no issue.
Would love to hear what perceived benefits your looking for from a lower profile tire?
ie one that is 60% as tall vice the OEM spec'ed 70%
No flaming, just curious.. I can see anything from "Hey I have a brand new 120/6-x17 sitting in the garage and want to use it" to.... " I like the turn in that comes from the lower profile tire""
