my carbs

I hope someone else can point you in the right direction. I am thinking throttle cables routed wrong or binding/adjusted with no slack.
Did you pull the choke **** while the idle was high, to help eliminate some things?
Erratic idle may be that your pilot screws need tweaking. Do you have a tool to adjust them while the engine is running? The carbs could need to be synched again after this.
Did you replace the float valve on the front carb?

So I checked my plugs and they are right on cleaned them and putt them back in still popping. Just to bring it up when I pulled the oil plug on this bike when I got it the plug literally shot like a bullet and gas and oil poured out I mean I think the entire engine was full of gas. So anything that could have messed up. What should the compression be. I have a buddy that knows a lot about bikes stopped at his lot yesterday and he told me to come by today and he would help me out. So I'm hoping that will go well. We'll see

Cylinder Compression = 164 psi @ 350 rpm
The gas in oil previously should not have caused any harm, so long as you did not run the engine very much while the oil was contaminated. It can actually help clean out the engine.
Pull the choke **** slowly while the popping is present. What happens?
