a little advice please

Hello from New Brunswick, Canada

I bought a 98 VTR1000 last year. Came with a set of Yoshi cans on it and the guy also gave me the stock exhausts.
The Yoshi's apparently were not slip-ons because the guy cut the pipe about 8 inches down and welded on the Yoshi's. He then put some BBQ paint on to cover what he'd done. It didn't look bad at first, but now the paint's starting to flake off...
Long story short, I want to put the stock exhausts back on, but I need to find some new exhaust pipes.
I found some at the below URL, but this would likely cost me around $500 after all is said and done....seems awfully pricey.

+1 on fleabay.

Prolly cost more for the shipping than for a set of used OEM pipes.

Cant salvage the Yoshis? Grind 'em smooth, then get a ceramic coating applied, or have them chromed.

Well, I probably didn't explain myself right. I don't need the cans, I need new pipes from the cans to the header(I think that's what it's called). Or at least to the point where the two pipes are connected into 1.
Nova Scotia hey!? In Halifax? Man, looks like we might be riding early this year....

You mean the midpipe. Well, the stock cans have the midpipe attached and it's all one piece. So when NS996 offered you his "stock cans" he's giving you the whole thing.
