Maybe you should include this long string of posts with your next letter so they can see the Army of quality customers who've been watching this, who will think twice the next time they buy a bike.

8451Hawk;

I don't think you should stand corrected because you are right.

That vacuum hose is a problem. Not only can it kink in the middle, but being so tight and getting pulled at an angle it can develop a tear at the vacuum nipple.

You are right that the easiest thing to do is not route it through the clamp.

I'm just saying that if the OEM hose wasn't so short, or if you chose to replace it with a longer one, i don't think routing it through the clamp would cause a problem.

#1. Best to buy bikes you can pay cash for.
#2. jump wire the side stand switch and the clutch switch and try it.(*most of us aren't morons and don't need them anyway.)
#3. It's good to have at least 2 bikes so you don't get shut down!
#4. Beware changing more than one thing at the time, you won't know what works or makes it worse.
#5. It's usually something simple and stupid.
I hope you get it back up soon, tell us how you do!

This bike was sent back to Japan because the Dealers could figure out the problem.
I've never had this problem with my bike as it came with the hose routed outside the clamp.
