Hey guys

I am about to embark on the changing of the CCTs myself and have the hawk on rear stand. The question is how do I get to the index mark "FT" and "RT" for TDC? I tired to turn the wheel in 1st gear but it won't budge. How do I turn the crank to align the marks at the timing hole?

Use a socket and a long breaker bar.... you'll need to remove the cap/cover with the hex on it on the left side case cover.. under that you'll be able to access it.

BTW... you might wanna try rotating the wheel at a higher gear 6th... I believe this will give you more mechanical advantage...

That's right. Use high gear, make sure the plugs are out - little movement of the back tire will get you there.
