HOT!

My bike runs hot after a while and i noticed the fan doesn't turn on. I was riding one day after it had rained and when i went to wash my bike it was extremely dirty underneath it. it had to be forced to spin at first and i am not sure if the fan will work now or not so far it hasn't. any help would be appreciated.

Where is the fuse located for the fan?

If you haven't already try to get it to spin freely and then check the fuse, its likely blown.

When I bought my first superhawk (r.i.p.) brand new in '99 it overheated the same day it came out of the crate with about 70 miles on it. Brought it back to the dealer and they said the thermostat was bad. I don't remember the fan ever turning on either that night, but I never had a problem with it again after they changed it (woohoo, the only thing I ever owned with a warranty)
