Thanks for letting me know what you went through.... my thinking was exactley the same regarding the confusion of what to place back into/on the valve. I've sat and examined each part and everything I could find on the web for the last 3 nights... glad to hear that what I was planning to do is pretty close to what you've stated, makes me feel I'm on the right track.... I'll let you know how it goes.
