racetech gold valve install

I am in process of upgrading my forks with race tech springs and gold compression valves. Also have upgraded shim stack on rebound. On compression side the new gold valve has in instructions about an optional choice of drilling a 1mm hole in side of valve. I am unsure what this does? Anyone here fitted these.

Also what is the process of setting the rebound adjusting nut on the rod that screws into preload adjuster?. Just says in manual not to change its position. ?

Cheers

Ive just done this myself but only the Comp Stack. My local guy told me to run a C34 stack and not to drill. If you have bought them new you will be able to login to the racetech site with a code and get the recommended settings.

Whats the rebound mod? Im new on Superhawks.
