Dead bike

Hello all. Picked up a mint 98 Hawk and was enjoying it one day and the next day...no spark. I would like to know if anyone here has had this happen and what the fix was. I have ruled out the kickstand and the kill switch as being bad. Will the oil sending unit cause it not to have spark?

P.S. I have no manual.

Look in the knowledge base for a manual. There for the downloading
Start your diagnostics at the battery ...

So, after hours of searching and disassembling, the problem was the connection at the fuse block. The bike was getting voltage to the starter but nothing going to the controller and the cdi box. So far it runs...just hope that things go back together and no left over nuts and bolts.
