need urgent help. bike is dead - no nothing

well I got back from the bank today and turned it off. decided to turn it back on cause it sounded a lil weird on the way back... Well first start it did like a WHIR CLUNK WHIR then fired. sounded like it almost like it wasn't getting enough juice. Now it better not be my RR as I replaced that with one with a bigger heatsink. I'm hoping it's just my battery but the whole WHIR CLUNK thing has me kind've worried.... I'm going outside with my multimeter to check. Right now there's absolutely 0 juice. no guages no nothing... I'm glad it happened today cause I'm riding home tomorrow 400 miles... well was supposed to... we'll see now...

well here it is. my ******* battery terminal melted... only thing I can figure is somehow my battery tender connectors did it. If there was a short it would've melted the wire but everything looks good... Since I didn't have the receipt anymore I was fucked for returning it.... Luckily the guy gave me a deal but still not too happy about it...

well what happens if you use too small of a guage of wire for the current? it melts. Well on a loose connection at a terminal essentially the same thing happens. Well the issue was with the extra wire on it, it rattled loose because it was difficult to get nice and tight and well walla!

Ouch. Sounds like you're learning the hard way about your bike's little nuances. But, the tough ones are the ones that stick, right?
