coil grounds
the tab coming off the frame for the front coil broke off. got a piece of thick safety wire holding it in place so it doesnt shake around. seems to run fine although ive only been around the block a few times since this has happened. is it fine like i have it or should i try to get that tab welded back on?

If you were to install a set of CBR coils, the broken bracket wouldn't be an issue. Prolly cheeper than having the bracket TIG welded.
Just sayin'.

but are you sure that this mod give more power????
I think that the only reason about the tweety's bike go better on the dyno, was that his original coils are very old... i'm not sure that the cbr coils can give more hp...
Anyone after the cbr coils mod have find more hp??

I never intended this MOD to make more power. which is good, as it wont unless you have an issue with the OEM coils and spark plug leads you have on there now.
What it does do is clean up some wiring, remove the weight and bulk of the OEM coils, and, at least for me, cure a misfire I had from what I believe was a faulty spark plug lead on the rear coil.
So for me, it works as designed and planed.. Can't get much better results than that from a MOD IMHO
