CCT changing. Urgent question

right now iam changing my cct´s i read all the articles about this, but wantet to be sure. i alligned the RT mark. and on camshaft spockets the RI and RE on each sides are as it should be, when changing rear cct.

I can see the piston are raised to the top, Is this right, should it be safe to change the cct now ?

Jens.

Jens.

If you have the rear valve cover off, the lobes on the camshafts should be pointing up at each other at 45 degree angles. If either of those lobes is touching a valve then do not pull it. But if they are pointed at each other at an upward angle you will be OK. But to be sure you should zip tie the chains onto the sprockets.
