Busted TPS :(

I broke my throttle position sensor today. BikeBandit wants 98 dollars for a new one. I was curious if anyone here knows of a better/cheaper option. Is it the same part used on some other bikes?

a option may be a Honda car TPS, looks to be the same just different angle... maybe worth 30 dollars as a option.

Watch ebay. I bought a set of carbs for $40 with a good tps. I have heard others suggest using a Honda auto tps but from which vehicle in particular I'm not sure.

Cheers

I have a set of carbs I'll sell ya for $60 shipped. Has the TPS. Don't really want to sell the TPS alone since the carbs w/o it does me little good.

I busted mine while resetting the TPS. My solution was to epoxy, two part epoxy, the part back together. That was 2K miles ago and no problems. Make sure to get the 5 minute working time epoxy.

I can help if you haven't commited to another set of carbs yet. I've got a junk set of carbs that I can remove the TPS from. Just pay shipping.
