BOGGING?

so i was riding today and the bike started to act as though it was running out of gas. bogging. but has plenty of fuel in it.it does it when your quarter throttle or going to take off from a start . any thoughts? bad gas?clogged pilots? i thought of installing some inline filters on the fuel lines to the carbs. i was told the hawks like to pick up bad gas quite offen. any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thumper is an unknown quantity at this point
Did you just fill up prior to this, maybe a vaccum issue with too much fuel in the tank?

I was going to ask if you had the tank off recently and have encountered PVLIR

What exactly is that thing anyhow. Does it serve a purpose or is it a practical joke? If I had 10 bucks for everytime somebody stuck the vacuum on there, I'll bet I could buy a new CBR.

No, it's the diaphragm vent. You don't want a vacuum on the other side when the petcock is actuated open.
