Question APE CCT Adjustment?

Installed the APE CCT's last night. Many thanks to all who have posted here with how-to's and tips - great forum. I adjusted the tensioners to finger-tight and then backed them out almost a full turn. Bike started up easily and runs with no strange noises so I think I'm good to go. A number of people have mentioned adjusting the tensioners with the engine running - I can see how I could do this on the rear which is pretty accessible, but what about the front cct? How are you adjusting this without removing the hose to the thermostat?

i had the lock nut backed off & adjusted it with an open end wrench - when happy with the position shut the bike down - removed the hose & tightened the lock nut.

Sounds like a plan. I was hoping there way a way to do it with removing the hose as I've already locked it down. So much for a lazy way out! Thanks for the help.
