afterfire?

Common to have afterfire out of modded or aftermarket pipes when rolling off throttle. Afterfire is unburnt fuel exploding in pipes. Backfiire comes back up through carbs and is a sign of problems. Afterfire is common on these bikes and i do not believe poses any risks. Have read that pair removal cures this. Personally i like the back popping when coasting down a hill.

Couple of things to consider:
1. Is the PAIR removed? Search site for PAIR removal mod.
2. Are your carbs sycn'd? Again, search for carb sync.

Removing/adjusting these items will eliminate the backfiring.

Good luck.

you can buy about a couple of different carb sync tools for that price ( motion pro or morgan) or you can make one for about 5 dollars if you use premium materials.

check out Gregs (hawkrider) website to learn how to do a carb sync and home and enjoy the savings.
