Definitely one of the best website designs I've seen in a long time. The kind of thing I'd have been very proud of when I did that for a living. Thanksfully they hired a good artist and left him the hell alone to design it. I used to have a separate portfolio of "my" designs separate from the crap that actually went live once the owners added "more colors" and "more flashing lights."

The bike looks like the offspring of a Buell and a Confederate. Curious how it actually rides and performs compared to the original it was built off.

The "Ronin" bike began life as a Buell 1125. Thankfully, they're only producing 47 of them. You see, I don't hear anything.

Ya see, I'm just not a fan of 90% of all cafe bikes out there. The profile on the Ronin looks muscular and me likey!

Bikes made of "Unobtaiium" are interesting but I find DIY customs way cooler

Can be [for me anyway] but they are few and far between IMO.

I agree. Like you said though 99% of the ones out there are hideous craigslist "bobbers" and proper customs only come along every once in awhile. Some people "get it" and most unfortunately don't.

I love all these bikes, they have such a unique character, that I wouldn't even care much about the road performance.

Here is one of my toys I build back in 1999, sense than, changes here and there a few things.
no comments on the seat please, it is still in the works, I don't like the look of it, but so far it works the best.

I have always been drawn to big twins in sporting trim. I had a love affair with a couple of Guzzis years ago. I could be smitten by this one if I had the cash.

I love the Virago cafe bike too. I am not too keen on the 47 though. I would look like an elephant humping a football on that bike.

LOVE it, and the newer 8V has some more power too. Ever heard one with an exhaust? Guy near me used to run around on one and it sounded glorious. Looks fantastic too. Always wanted a Guzzi. Thought the MGS-01 was absolutely beautiful. Also loved the V11's, especially that wacky green one. Looks great with the cafe fairing on it.

Me too! They moved the seat position back a bit. It makes it a stretch to the bars for some but it keeps my knees out of the jugs, which was a problem with my old T-3 Cafe Racer. The Guzzi just make such pretty exhaust noise. If you purchase a Guzzi you also get a ticket to the most eccentric motorcycle group known to man. These guys (and girls) beat Harley riders for brand fanaticism.

I would have to agree with the Guzzi statement.

I regularly ride with a mate who has a Guzzi California Special Sport that has been modded.

I got a shock at how fast he goes. He has introduced me to a whole bunch of very ex centric characters. One in particular pulled his plugs at a stop during a ride, plugged his lap top in and started tuning . I thought that's a bit weird and at the next stop guess what same thing again. Didn't eat or drink, just played with his bike.

That's fanatical!
