Some great info being put out. I've been in a similar. Situation. Once you get this deep inbto it you just can't turn around and undo it and no matter how frustrating you have to finish.

It must have been the varadero I was thinking about. I'm wondering if there's a way to hack into its computer and reprogram it? I know with my car we used a program called hp tuners. It basically allowed us to break into the factory gm computer and reprogram every aspect of it. It even had some features that weren't used in the car such as if the temps are over a certain temperature the fan will stay on when the car goes off. I think that would be something to look into for some someone elses project. Varadero efi setup. See if hp tuners or something similar is available. Or do as I mentioned above. Assuming there's a fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail and a return fuel line you run a rising rate fuel pressure regulator, fmu, and as the bike goes into boost it'll add fuel. You can set it up to add as much fuel as yu want. The one I used was set for 1:1 and adjustable to 12:1. Just an idea. None the less lots of great information in this thread and a really fantastic build

I'm amazed, I was only looking for F.I. But holy crap this is way over what I expected.

It's collecting dust i the garage since my job was taking 135 % of my time.

Good news !!
I changed job a month ago (due to me and family snaping it up) and I'm catching up wy dumped projects, a LS2 CJ7 and to redo my fuel pump system for the summer.

Welcome back!

You should show the LS2 Jeep build in the "everything else" section too!

Interesting build. Being new to the forum and reading this makes me want to do something to my sh.
As far as the boost side you made the right call for sure on the efi install. Tuning a boosted carb is ridiculouly tricky and never seems to be quite right. I have built several boosted cars and a couple of carbed boosted harleys just saying you did way more research than any one individual I have ever met bravo hope you get it dialed soon!!!

I missed your reply but thanks, there are a few tweaks that can be done to a carb, but playing with changing airbox pressures, velocity can become more frustrating from the lack of control, I can't imagine all the changes I have done to my fueling done swapping jets, springs, restrictors, needles, whatever gimmicks I could invent to make this work.

But Hey good news, I have ordered a VFR fuel tank with the EFI pump still in it

This looks very nice, nice fab work, I made my front header to clear a front mount rad, your bike is close to the view I had from mine !!
So you must have a pump to return the oil to the pan ??
Finally what have you decided for fueling, keep up the good work

Amazing job. Beautiful fabrication. I wouldn't want your weekly rear tire bill. LOL. I agree with Tweety; eventually you may want to scoop some cool air in under the seat.
